Depart from Nairobi in the mid-morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to take the most eye catching view of the Escarpment and proceed to Kenya’s premier wildlife park – the Maasai Mara home to the residents of the BBC’s Big Cat diary arriving in time for lunch. Spend the entire day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. You can opt to go out with picnic lunch boxes to spend most of the day in the park coming back to the lodge late afternoon, or you will have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive, and another one late afternoon. Depart Maasai Mara Game Reserve after an early breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park as you enjoy the scenic views of such features as Lake Elementaita, Lake Naivasha and Mt Longonot and Suswa, all of which are in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Deaprt Lake Nakuru after an early bmorning breakfast for Amboseli National Park and drive south through Maasai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. Check in for lunch at Kibo Safari Camp late in the afternoon for late lunch. The park is famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Spend the entire day in Amboseli, with an early morning pre-breakfast game drives when you have the best chance to see the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the camp / lodge for late breakfast. Depart Amboseli National Park after an early morning breakfast. Arriving at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in time for Lunch. After breakfast leave Amboseli for Tsavo West Game en-route with a visit to Mzima Springs where you can see hippos and fish in a crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys. West Visit Mzima Springs. Mzima Springs are clear pools that are a favorite hangout for hippos and crocodiles. The main attraction here is a submerged viewing tank which was designed so that people could watch the hippo’s antics underwater, but since it was built the hippos have retreated shyly to the other side of the pool. The good news is that you get a great view of the fish. The underground water that feeds the pools filters up through the volcanic rock of the Chyulu Hills and it is linked by pipeline to Mombasa, supplying most of the town’s water. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.
