NAIROBI /MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Depart from Nairobi in the mid-morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to take the most eye catching view of the Escarpment and proceed to Kenya’s premier wildlife park – the Maasai Mara home to the residents of the BBC’s Big Cat diary arriving in time for lunch. Check in and have lunch at Sarova Mara Game Camp. These vast plains provide incredible game viewing for this Kenya safari. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at Sarova Mara Game Camp.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Spend the entire day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. You can opt to go out with picnic lunch boxes to spend most of the day in the park coming back to the lodge late afternoon, or you will have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive, and another one late afternoon. There will also be an optional visit to a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight at overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE / LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Depart Maasai Mara Game Reserve after an early breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park as you enjoy the scenic views of such features as Lake Elementaita, Lake Naivasha and Mt Longonot and Suswa, all of which are in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Sarova Lionhill Game Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lionhill Game Lodge.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK / NAIROBI / OUT

Enjoy an early morning pre-breakfast game drive, return to the lodge for a hot breakfast. Depart Lake Nakuru National Park for Nairobi arriving at approx 1300hrs. Depending on the time of your departure you will be dropped off at the airport.
