NAIROBI – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Depart Nairobi and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to take the most eye catching view of the Escarpment. Game viewing en route to Sarova Lion Hill Lodge / Flamingo Hill Tented Camp. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge / Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK / MAASAI MARA G RESERVE

After breakfast you will drive further along the Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Here you will spend (2) nights at the Sarova Mara Game Camp / Ashnil Mara Camp on a full board basis. Famed for its wildebeest migration during July – Oct, the Masai Mara promises to be the highlight of a Kenyan safari. With vast open spaces, abundant game and breathtaking sunsets. Dinner at Overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp / Ashnil Mara Camp.

MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Spend the entire day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). You can opt to go out with picnic lunch boxes to spend most of the day in the park coming back to the lodge late afternoon, or you can have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive, and another one late afternoon. There will also be an optional visit to a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp / Ashnil Mara Camp.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE – LAKE NAIVASHA

Enjoy breakfast at the camp, then depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort/ Naivasha Kongoni Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha that takes you to Crescent Island for a walking safari. This is one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals – there are no predators. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort/ Naivasha Kongoni Lodge.

NAIVASHA / AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Depart Naivasha after breakfast and drive to Amboseli. Passing through the great rift valley with scenic views. Arrive at Kibo Safari Camp late in the afternoon for late lunch. The park is famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

We depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Tsavo East National Park. Game is viewed as we exit the park. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Ashnil Aruba lodge. This park was famed for its large herds of elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery. We visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (attracts elephants in the drier season), and Aruba Dam as we view game if time permits. Dinner and overnight stay is at Ashnil Aruba.

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK / NAIROBI / OUT

Enjoy an early morning pre-breakfast game drive, return to the lodge for a hot breakfast. Depart Tsavo for Nairobi arriving late in the evening. Depending on the time of your departure, you will be dropped at JomoKenyatta International Airport.
